About

My name is Spencer Pollard. I’m currently the in-house modelmaker at ADH Publishing, the company responsible for Tamiya Magazine, Model Airplane and Military Illustrated, all of which I build models for each month. Before joining ADH, I was the Editor of Military In Scale, a position that I held for over fifteen years. Hopefully, my time in the industry has helped me to understand the hobby and what modellers want both in terms of information and the products that they buy. This new blog will bring both of those things together in one, simple package.

Hi Spencer, How are you? Hey I was wondering if it was was you who built a RNZAF Tamiya Corsair a year or so ago in the Ruptured Duck markings ? I’m just wondering if it ended up in any magazines etc as I am starting to build one myself and would like to see what you might have done with it.

    Cheers

    Brad

Hi Spenser, after reading your spot-on response to the poster on HyperScale who bashed bloggers, I’ve looked you up and will be reading you. Your HS response was perfect and needed to be said. Bookmarking you now. -Ara from the US.
