Sea Fury ‘Mini Guide’ – SOLD OUT!

Screen Shot 2018-03-21 at 20.23.37

With the completion of the model, the final couple of pages of this new book can be completed. As mentioned last week, my new book will be released at the Cosford show in the UK at the start of April, but will also be available to purchase from me in exactly the same way as the Spitfire book seen previously.

This new title will be 32 pages long, but will be crammed with plenty of information on how to get the best from the kit, a complete guide to construction, painting, any pitfalls that may trap the unwary and then how to paint and weather the results. Along the way, there is also a detail review of what Airfix supply, as well as ideas on painting and detailing kit cockpits and a round-up of the paints that you will need from a wide variety of different manufacturers. The idea is that this will be a detailed one-stop resource that you can enjoy, use for your build a then keep!

Because this one is shorter than the Spitfire book, it will be cheaper at £10, but the postage will I am afraid be slightly higher  because the post office bands the postage and despite advertising the rates and sticking to them last time, I underestimated the cost and lost out slightly  – so this time that  means £2 in the UK, £5 to Europe and then £7.50 to the rest of the world. Of course if you decide that you want to pick one (or more!) up from me at Cosford, there will be no postage at all!

So the costs are as follows:

UK – £12

Europe – £15

Rest Of World – £17

Once this is completely finished, I will post links to show everyone how to order the book. If you have already gone through this with the Spitfire, you will already know what to do – the Paypal address being exactly the same as before. Just work out the cost plus postage and bingo! Job done. For everyone that hasn’t, please email me at the following address with your mailing address and I will send you link – please note: THIS IS NOT MY PAYPAL ADDRESS!

Thanks a lot for your interest and have a great day! 🙂

I’ve just redone them and they now take me to a pay page with the correct amount – I hope it works for everyone!

Hi I have Still not recived my copy of the Sea Fury book which I paid for via Paypal back in March, I am getting rather annoyed now by the delay, cann you respond ASAP please.

    • spencerp6745 May 29, 2018 / 4:45 pm

Hi Tony – the reason why you haven’t had your book is because I don’t have your address. The Paypal payment had no address details so I sent you an email on March 22nd asking for your address (the day you made the payment) and then waited and heard nothing, so I sent another on May 3rd and had no reply to either email. I assumed that you were away and so simply put your book in the pending pile until you got in touch as I couldn’t find anywhere where you’d sent me you address. So, can I have it address and I will send your book out to you?

Hi Spencer, I am very late to the party but I would like to buy one of your Sea Fury books if you still have any. Postage would be to an Australian address if you could provide a quote for purchase and shipping and I will pay via PayPal ASAP. Cheers,

    Ken Bowes
